Empowerium

A Self-Actualization & Reintegration Program

A whole-person approach to preparing for life beyond incarceration— built around self-discovery, practical planning, personal responsibility, and the tools to create meaningful change.

Our Mission

Reintegration begins with the person.

Empowerium exists to give returning citizens the tools for genuine self-actualization — not just release, but reintegration on their own terms. We believe rehabilitation is not something done to a person, but a process a person is equipped to do for themselves.

Our program combines structured self-inquiry, practical reentry planning, and honest accountability to help individuals rebuild identity, purpose, and direction before and after release — and to help the institutions and families who support them do so with real tools, not good intentions alone.

We operate as a social enterprise: affordability for the individuals we serve comes first, and institutional partnerships sustain that mission rather than compete with it.

The Program

A complete whole-person system

Empowerium is a structured series designed to move beyond a single workbook or class. The participant materials work together as one self-discovery and reintegration process.

02

Syllabus & Career Reboot Toolkit

Student notes, program structure, and practical tools for rebuilding direction and work life.

03

Needs Assessment & Reentry Plan

A comprehensive workbook for identifying needs, priorities, goals, and an individualized path forward.

04

Program Evaluation & Questionnaires

Tools for participant feedback, self-assessment, and program evaluation.

05

Post-Release Integration Workbook

A practical companion for continuing the work and applying the program after release.

For correctional facilities: Institutional program access includes all five participant volumes plus the Empowerium Turnkey Facilitator Guide , providing the materials needed to implement the program within a facility.

About Empowerium

Built from lived experience and education

Ayla Love, founder of Empowerium LLC

Ayla Love, Founder

Empowerium was founded by Ayla Love, author of the Empowerium program suite and creator of the Core Self-Inventory framework used throughout its curriculum. Her background spans psychology — she holds a B.A. in the field — and over two decades of hands-on enterprise experience, including operating her own residential moving company that handled military relocations in partnership with major van line operators. She has also raised five children over 25 years, an experience that shapes her practical, no-nonsense approach to personal development and accountability.

Ayla has written, edited, and self-published eight books, including the full Empowerium program series, an autobiography, and a poetry collection. Her work is grounded in a simple conviction: lasting change comes from structured self-inquiry, not imposed instruction.

That conviction led her to develop the Core Self-Inventory, the diagnostic framework at the heart of the Empowerium curriculum, and to build a full reentry program around it — one designed to be affordable for individuals and sustainable for the institutions that serve them.

Empowerium operates as a social enterprise. Its priority is the person going through the program; institutional licensing exists to support that mission, not the reverse.

Measurement & Outcomes

Early evidence. Honest measurement.

We believe the program should be evaluated—not simply promoted.

Empowerium is committed to gathering meaningful participant feedback and using structured questionnaires and assessments to understand what is working, what needs improvement, and how participants experience the program.

As implementation expands, this section will report available findings clearly and responsibly, distinguishing participant-reported experience from independently verified outcomes.

Beyond Release

Reintegration doesn't end at the gate.

The work of rebuilding identity, relationships, purpose, and direction continues after release. Empowerium provides an alumni pathway designed to support that ongoing process.
